Situated on the West side of Uddingston and just South-East of the old Glasgow boundary in North Lanarkshire.  Calderbraes is a unique and quirky course with a Highland natured feel about it, hidden away in a quiet pocket of Uddingston, but easily accessible from all major routes.
Due to its hilly terrain, the course drains well in comparison to many of the other courses in close proximity.  Our course is a hidden gem and may well be considered by many one of the 'Top 10' hardest 9-hole courses in Scotland.
It may be of interest to visitors that 6 of the holes begin with blind tee shots significantly contributing to the difficulty of the course, coupled with narrow fairways, and significant out of bounds hazards making accuracy off the tee a significant advantage.
With the above information the challenge is there for both the experienced golfer and the those who play the game socially and it is not uncommon to hear 'That wasn't an easy course to play' from many a player on completion of their round.
Our clubhouse is a comfortable and friendly venue offering something for everyone. Socialise in the bar with drinks or party the night away at one of your own function nights.
